Jan 2, 2017

We went to the office this morning to do some last minute business and then the AP's
took us to the SeaBird (speed boat service) to cross the bay to Lungi where the airport
is. It was fun going across the bay by speed boat. It was about a 25 minute ride. Our
flight to Accra, Ghana was without incident. We flew on Kenya Airline and it was a very
nice plane. Elder Baker met us here in Accra and brought us to the ancillary building on
Temple Grounds. We met the Wollenzines on the plane. They are the Humanitarian
couple from Liberia. When we got here we met the Parkes who are the Humanitarian
couple from Senegal. The Bakers and the Nays are the Humanitarian couples from
Ghana. John Buah brought us all here to have a Welfare Humanitarian Seminar. All of
us are new since the beginning of 2016 and are the only Humanitarian specialists in our
assigned country.
